The Columbia Pregnancy Center, a non-profit organization, is staffed by trained volunteers. The volunteers and staff, for the most part, do not have degrees in counseling nor are they licensed by the state.
The counseling provided is not intended to be a substitute for professional counseling.
We are not a medical facility. Although the results of the Precious Feet pregnancy test are stated by the manufacturer as 99% accurate, a licensed physician is the only one legally qualified to diagnose pregnancy. If your test results are positive, we recommend you consult your doctor to confirm the test results. No medical care or treatment is provided by the Columbia Pregnancy Center.
We are not an adoption agency and we are not affiliated with any adoption agencies. Although we give referrals for medical care, professional counseling, housing, and other community services, we assume no legal responsibility for services provided by other agencies or individuals; nor are the views of these organizations or individuals necessarily the views of the Columbia Pregnancy Center.
One of our trained volunteers will fill out a confidential information sheet with you.
We will hold in strict confidence the information you provide with the following exceptions: Oregon law and/or our concern for your safety, may require that we report knowledge of a client who is suicidal, homicidal, abusing a minor, is a minor being abused, or a victim of statutory rape.
